What was the problem?

Goss RV quoted luxury RV trips in Google Docs. Fees were calculated by hand and installment payments were collected manually, outside the CRM where the deal lived.

  3. Charge through HubSpot Quotes
  4. Roll back on failure
  1. 1A HubSpot deal card with product search and a cart.
  2. 2Pay in full, or split into 2–5 installments with equal or custom percentages, accurate to the cent.
  3. 3Each installment is set up to be charged through HubSpot's own quotes.
  4. 4If any step fails half-way, the card rolls back, so no half-built quote is left behind.

What was the result?

  • Quotes are built on the deal, not in a separate document.
  • Installment amounts are calculated to the cent, with no manual fee maths.
  • A failed step rolls back cleanly instead of leaving a partial quote.
