Common questions
What does Your Private Dev build?
Your Private Dev builds workflow automation, AI agents, integrations and custom internal tools for the operations and finance teams of established small and mid-size businesses, plus MVP development when you need a first version. Shipped examples include an invoicing agent on Business Central, a Brightpearl and HubSpot sync, annual report generation, HubSpot CRM cards and chat-driven operations for a roofing contractor.
Which back-office work is worth automating first?
Start with work your team repeats every week and where the workflow return is clear. At Kintec that was contractor invoicing, 70+ hours a month of reading emails, checking Business Central and finalizing invoices. At Distinguished Clubs it was annual member-club reports, 250+ hours a year of mail-merge and layout fixes. If no process exists yet, the work is not ready to automate.
Can an AI agent finish a task without a person?
In the Kintec build, yes for standard invoice cycles. Contractors email a request, and the agent parses it, cross-verifies it against Business Central, generates the invoice, validates it against accounting rules and historical patterns, and finalizes the payment workflow with no human in the loop. It is a poor fit when there is no clear workflow return or the goal is AI for marketing hype only.
How do you connect systems that do not talk to each other?
By building the integration they lack. For Aid Through Trade, a two-way sync keeps Brightpearl and HubSpot in step, in real time from HubSpot and daily from Brightpearl. For DeMont, whose iClassPro had no API the school could use, a scheduled service signs in, pulls the reports and syncs linked records into HubSpot. Each build has its own case study.
What results have the builds delivered?
The figures are on the case pages. Kintec: 70+ hours a month of invoicing removed. Distinguished Clubs: 250+ hours a year of report production removed. Code Ninjas: 797 franchise locations on one booking platform. Aid Through Trade: 10,399 Brightpearl contacts migrated into HubSpot. CrossLogic: an 83,000-page federal case extracted at about $0.003 per page in AI cost. Every number is taken from the case study it belongs to, and each case page lists the stack and the steps behind it.
What happens on the first call?
The first call is a 15-minute scoping call with direct questions about your goal and your constraints. You then get a written quote with fixed scope, timeline and deliverables, within 48 hours and before any code is written. If the project turns out to be a poor fit, for example because the scope is undefined or an off-the-shelf tool already solves the problem, that comes out in the call.
